Sudiptta Apu won the Khulna Divisional Best National Tech Award in Freelancing

 


Sudiptta Kumar Mandal (Apu), son of Balai Mandal, a child of Bagerhat Rampal Upazila Banshtali Union, received the Khulna Division Best Freelancer Award at the National Freelancer Carnival "National Tech Award 2023" organized by One Way School, a completely free online educational platform of Bangladesh.

On Thursday (August 10) at 10 am in the National Mother Language Institute Auditorium in Segunbagicha of the capital, Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen.

Barrister Shamim Haider Patwari, Member of National Parliament, Chairman of Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society Dr. Tanjiba Rahman and Emarjina Islam and Codman BD founder Minajul Asif and A, H, Ali and other guests were present as special guests.

Sudipta Apu said, I am very happy. This award will give me more motivation in my future work. He said that his journey was difficult in the beginning. After overcoming many hurdles, he is now a successful freelancer and trainer as well.

Featured as an "Upwork Spotlight" graphic designer from Upwork in 2022. Prothom Alo, Kale Kanth, Daily Star and several media outlets published features and articles about him. On July 29, 2023, Khulna received the "Rising Youth Award 2023" as the best freelancer in Khulna Division from the Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Junaid Ahmed Palak (MP). He has been working for two and a half years in a reputed American company and has removed the unemployment of many boys and girls through training while working for foreign clients at home. For the last three years he has established his own company "Design Port BD" an IT firm


Apu's dream is to stand next to educated unemployed boys and girls and play a leading role in building a smart Bangladesh by eliminating unemployment through training. Meanwhile Bangladesh Awami Swachhasebok League Bagerhat district branch convenor and chairman of No. 10 Banshtali Union Md. Mostafizur Rahman Sohel (VP Sohel) discussed the training system for the unemployed youth of Banshtali Union.


40 successful freelancers from all over Bangladesh were awarded in 19 categories at the National Tech Award 2023 National Freelancer Carnival which started with the National Anthem. Among them - eight best freelancers in eight categories of the country, eight best freelancer mentors, eight best freelancer institutes, one freelancer each (special mention), women freelancers, tech YouTubers, edtech entrepreneurs, edtech organizations, e-commerce entrepreneurs, f-commerce entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, Health Tech Companies, Tech Companies, IT Entrepreneurs, Teen Freelancers, Young Professionals, Excellence in Education, Community Leaders and University Clubs.

Freelancer Sudipta Apu said success is possible only if you move forward with confidence. Competition is increasing day by day so there is no alternative to being efficient if you want to succeed. The freelancing sector has immense potential for men as well as women. The contribution of freelancers in the government's construction of Smart Bangladesh is undeniable. Women freelancers are not lagging behind in this regard. Family also plays an important role in encouraging them and encouraging them to dream.
